Principal dentist. Special interest in Invisalign, and in general and family dentistry.
Jonathan is the principal dentist at Comely Bank Dental. He qualified from the University of Aberdeen in 2016 and leads the practice's Invisalign treatment, which has earned Diamond Apex status every year from 2022 to 2026.
Alongside Invisalign he looks after patients and families for their everyday dental care, from dental examinations to crowns.

Special interests: implants, oral surgery, digital smile design, porcelain veneers.
Dav trained in engineering as well as dentistry, and brings both to his implant work. Each case is mapped on a CT scan, and he places every implant himself, whether it replaces one tooth or a complete arch. At Comely Bank Dental he provides implant, full-arch and sedation treatment.

Special interest in aesthetic dentistry and in caring for nervous patients.
Miranda qualified as a dentist at the University of Dundee in 2017, three years after completing a BMSc (Hons) there. She completed her vocational training at Discovery Dental Care in Dundee, then spent six years at Blairgowrie Dental Care before joining the team at Comely Bank Dental in 2024.
Committed to giving her patients a high standard of care, she went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry with the Fresh Dental Institute in 2025. Aesthetic dentistry is an interest she holds both professionally and personally, and she enjoys helping people towards healthy, confident smiles through careful, personalised treatment.
Alongside everyday dentistry for adults and children, Miranda has a particular interest in supporting nervous patients. She takes time to help people feel at ease and lets the pace of treatment follow what each person needs. She also provides facial aesthetics, including anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, after a full consultation.

Stephanie qualified from the University of Aberdeen in 2018. She looks after adults and children for dental examinations, fillings, crowns and emergencies, with a calm, unhurried approach that suits nervous patients.

Katie Ventisei
Dental therapist
BSc (Hons) Oral Health Sciences (Edinburgh), Dip Paed Dent (DT) RCSEd
Dental therapist. Healthy gums, prevention and periodontal maintenance.
Katie graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Oral Health Sciences, a four-year degree in dental therapy. Since qualifying she has worked across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
In 2021 she returned to the University of Edinburgh as a lecturer and clinical supervisor, where her passion for education and patient care flourished. While teaching there she was nominated for a EUSA teaching award and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry for Dental Therapists at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Katie joined Comely Bank Dental in January 2023.
