About Katie
Dental therapist. Healthy gums, prevention and periodontal maintenance.
Katie graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2018 with a BSc (Hons) in Oral Health Sciences, a four-year degree in dental therapy. Since qualifying she has worked across Edinburgh and the Lothians.
In 2021 she returned to the University of Edinburgh as a lecturer and clinical supervisor, where her passion for education and patient care flourished. While teaching there she was nominated for a EUSA teaching award and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Paediatric Dentistry for Dental Therapists at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.
Katie joined Comely Bank Dental in January 2023.

Outside dentistry, Katie loves holidaying in Italy and has spent the last two years learning Italian. At weekends she enjoys discovering new coffee shops and restaurants around Edinburgh, and cooking at home for friends and family.
