How It Works

From design to fitting usually takes three to four weeks.

1

Smile Design

We take photos, video and a 3D scan, then design your new smile on your own face.

2

Trial Smile

A temporary mock-up is placed over your teeth so you can see the result and approve it.

3

Preparation

The enamel is prepared minimally, and you wear temporary veneers while your own are made.

4

Fitting

We bond your porcelain veneers in place, then check and polish them.

What Veneers Can Fix

Veneers alter how teeth are shaped and coloured. Where teeth are crowded, straightening them beforehand usually means preparing less tooth.

Stubborn Discolouration

Stains whitening won't lift, or one tooth that has darkened.

Chips and Worn Edges

Restores edges that are chipped or worn away.

Gaps

Closes up small spaces between your front teeth.

Uneven Shape or Size

Balances teeth that are small, short or an unusual shape.

Slightly Uneven Teeth

Hides minor irregularities. Bigger ones are best straightened first.

Old Veneers or Bonding

Swaps worn or stained restorations for a fresh design.

Veneers on Three Real Smiles

Two of these used veneers alone. The third also needed crowns and bridges, because older work was failing.

Not Always Veneers

Teeth that are crooked or crowded: Invisalign to begin with, then veneers only if they're still needed
It's just the colour you dislike: whitening instead, or before veneers
Minor chips or gaps: composite bonding needs little or no preparation
Gum disease or decay: we treat it beforehand so the veneers last

Caring for Your Veneers

Brush morning and night, and clean between your teeth daily
Attend regular dental examinations and hygiene visits
If you grind your teeth, wear a night guard
Avoid biting nails, pens or ice
Porcelain itself resists stains, though tea, coffee and smoking can still discolour the edges

Your Shade and Shape

We design your veneers to suit your face rather than choosing them from a chart.

We match the shade to your eyes, your skin tone and the neighbouring teeth
A bright smile needn't look fake. You see the options on photos of yourself
Each shape is guided by your lips, your face and the curve of your smile
A trial smile lets you wear the design in your mouth, and we alter anything you're unsure of

How Many Veneers Do You Need?

That comes down to the width of your smile. When smiling, most people show between six and ten upper teeth, and veneers normally cover the ones on view. Others need just one or two, to blend in a single chipped or dark tooth.

The smile design shows precisely which teeth would be changed, and before any preparation your written plan lists the fee for every tooth.
