What We Collect
Your contact details, medical and dental history, clinical records, photographs and X-rays, payment details, and any messages you send us, including by WhatsApp, email or social media. If you contact us through a social media site, that site's own privacy policy also applies.
Why We Use It
To provide your dental care, to contact you about appointments and enquiries, to meet our legal and regulatory obligations, and to process your payments and dental plan membership.
Photographs and WhatsApp
Photos you send us are clinical information. They are moved into your secure patient record and deleted from the messaging system. We never use them publicly without your separate written consent.
How Long We Keep It
Clinical records are kept for the periods required by NHS Scotland and professional guidance. Enquiry details are deleted if you don't become a patient.
Your Rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or, in some cases, ask us to delete it. Contact the practice manager at the address above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
